Hello Python

How Hello Python Works

Learn the Python you need, build reusable DSA Skills, rehearse them in focused Practice Exercises, then apply them in realistic Interview Problems.

A guide robot arranging five connected stages of the Hello Python interview learning system

One system, five resource types

Each type has one job. Together they move you from understanding to independent interview performance.

Python Topic

Focused lessons for Python syntax, behavior, fluency, and interview-relevant footguns.

DSA Skill

Reusable data structures, algorithms, and patterns that transfer across many problems.

Practice Exercise

Short, focused drills that isolate one technique before you face a full interview prompt.

Interview Problem

Complete coding-round problems, linked back to the Skills and Practice that prepare you.

Mock Round

A configurable timed rehearsal with two or three Interview Problems and no guided assistance.

Follow the Roadmap without losing flexibility

The Roadmap is the recommended easy-to-hard sequence across the entire product. Every learning resource appears once, so a beginner can follow it end to end without wondering what was missed.

Practice and Interview remain separate catalogs: Practice breaks techniques into shorter drills; Interview contains complete coding-round problems. Completing a resource anywhere updates the same stable record everywhere it appears.

How completion works

Completion means different things for reading and coding, but the state is always attached to the individual resource—not an entire Track.

Topics and Skills

Mark each Python Topic or DSA Skill complete individually after reviewing it. This unlocks only its next Roadmap prerequisite.

Exercises and Problems

A verified Submit creates completion and mastery. Running public tests is useful feedback, but it does not complete a Practice Exercise or Interview Problem.

Mock Round

Choose two problems for 45 minutes or three for 60 minutes. Completion is recorded after the timed session ends.

Counting matrix

What appears in Activity and progress

Activity keeps useful interaction history. Contributions are the subset that represent formal completion, while Profile totals count each current resource only once.

A beginner-friendly route

Follow this loop throughout all nine Roadmap phases. The difficulty grows, but the learning contract stays predictable.

  1. 1

    Learn the concept

Read the next Python Topic or DSA Skill and mark only that resource reviewed.

  2. 2

    Isolate the technique

Complete its linked Practice Exercise without relying on a full interview prompt.

  3. 3

    Apply it under pressure

Solve the connected Interview Problem in Standard mode, or use Wizard mode when you need authored checkpoints.

  4. 4

    Rehearse the round

Combine two or three completed Interview Problems into a timed Mock Round.
